1. Will text be centered on the patch?
Yes.
2. Will text fill the space?
Text is sized appropriately.
3. What is free shipping?
Free shipping is standard first class mail through the Post Office to the continental U.S.
4. Is rush delivery available?
We offer 3 day Priority Mail and Next Day Express Mail through the U.S. Post Office; UPS service is available as well. The fees for these services are based on the charges billed to us by these suppliers. You may choose one of these shipping services at checkout.
Please note that we charge a standard $10 rush fee for orders requiring delivery before our standard 7-10 business day turnaround. If you need your patches done by a certain date, please let us know in your comments at the time the order is placed. We will gladly work with our customers on their delivery dates – just remember that all patches are made once payment is received.
5. How long before I receive my order?
We process and ship orders within 7-10 business days. Once your order is in the mail, standard delivery schedules from the U.S. Postal Service will apply.
6. What materials are Patches made from?
Most patches are stitched on a polyester/cotton blend Twill or polyester/cotton blend Sateen, using color fast polyester color fast embroidery thread. They are then finished with a plastic heat-seal backing.
7. Can patches be ironed on?
Yes, on most fabrics. Not on nylon, leather, nor any fabric that has a slick or shiny surface.
8. Is Velcro backing available?
Yes. Select the velcro option on each patch order page. We use the Hook side (rough), so if you need the Loop side (smooth), you must add a note with your original order letting us know.
9. How do we order a patch using our Logo or other graphics?
Go to our Home page to the Patch Shape toolbar and select the custom button located at the top, or click here. This will take you to the custom order page, where you can upload your images (please allow enough time for your browser to upload these images). Fill in all of the information, and add any notes at the bottom of the page. We will email you a quote.
10. How do I check the progress of my order?
You will receive an email from us when you order has been received, and is processing. If you would like to email us regarding your order, please include your Make-a-Patch order number, the date of your order, and the name on the order. For questions email Dana@Make-a-Patch.com
